Using wookipedia, a TIE has a max acceleration of 4100G. Even using half that, to cover the distance of say 100m from full stop it'd take 0.099 seconds. So no I don't think it's possible.

No ship leaves it's dock at full speed, not even half speed. I say they maneuver in the hanger under something similar to impulse power. I can't believe I'm going to say this but in The Force Awakens Poe starts leaving the hanger with that two seater TIE fighter at a very slow speed and only really accelerates when he gets free of the tether and closer to the exit of the hanger. My God someone shoot me for this...

So you have a bounty hunter stand with a thermal detonator in between the TIE fighter and the hanger exit, the jawa starts the fighter and tried to jump out, and then the thermal goes off, ensuring the jawa doesn't end up in space as everything just explodes instead

Hey did you know there is a Class A Thermal Detonator and a Class C Thermal Detonator? So we have been using the puny Class C Thermal with 6meter range. Class A same devistation of damage but 20meter range! The hunt is on to find one of those!
